A MAN found dead at Talbot Heath Nature Reserve last week had been suffering from mental health issues, an inquest hearing heard yesterday.

Mark Antony Green, aged 30, of Thames Close, Ferndown, was found by a member of the public on November 7 at the reserve off Winston Avenue in Poole.

Coroner Richard Middleton opened and adjourned an inquest into the death of married Mr Green, a personal banker, at Dorset Coroner's Court, Bournemouth Town Hall.

During the the short hearing evidence was heard from coroner's officer Phillipa Morgan.

Ms Morgan said: "Mr Green had been suffering with his mental health."

She said he was found by a member of public in part of Talbot Heath Nature Reserve.

"Paramedics confirmed the death at the scene, police attended and found there there were no suspicious circumstances," said Ms Morgan.

Following a post-mortem examination, the provisional cause of death was recorded as asphyxia due to self-suspension.

Mr Middleton confirmed he would be requesting evidence from witnesses, before adjourning the hearing until a pre-inquest review set for March 11 next year.
