TOWN centres have come to a standstill amid 'lockdown 2.0' - but independent shops across Dorset are adapting to latest restrictions by selling their goods online.
The latest Government restrictions mean it's more important than ever to shop locally - so we've put together a list of independent retailers selling online during the four-week 'lockdown 2.0'.
Whether you're planning a bit of early Christmas shopping, or just fancy a spot of retail therapy, take a stroll down our virtual 'high-street' and let us know if there's any businesses we've missed.
First up is men's fashion retailer 'Frequency'. Located in Weymouth's Great George Street, the store incorporates a barber's shop and was established by local man Pete Singh 16 years ago.
Pete said: "We carry some of the best brands in fashion and street fashion - having adapted since the recession we will hopefully still be standing when lockdown is over." Click and collect is available via their website www.frequencystore.co.uk
Fiona Perry at Sunflowers needs no introduction - the St Thomas Street florist has been long established as a household name in Weymouth.
Her lovingly hand-crafted bouquets can be ordered for delivery throughout lockdown - and creative types can get into the festive spirit with a 'make-your-own Christmas wreath' kit, complete with online instructions. Visit www.fionapenny.co.uk
