POLICE are investigating a suspicious incident involving a woman and her nine-year-old son who were approached by two men.
Officers were called to the Springbourne roundabout, near the fire station, at 2.19pm yesterday.
They were told two men had approached them in a vehicle.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: "Officers attended the scene and have spoken to the mother involved. Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident and whether any offences have been committed. No arrests have been made.
"Officers will be carrying out further reassurance patrols in the area."
