This treehouse has not only featured on George Clarke's Amazing Spaces but also Grand Designs.

With the country being back in lockdown what better way to while away the autumn days than by planning your next great escape.

Planning a foreign holiday may be a little out of reach, but luckily there are some amazing places to stay right on our doorstep.

Even people dreaming of recreating their childhood by staying in a treehouse would stop short of thinking up something like Woodman's.

Built in 2016 by Guy Mallison and his three sons the treehouse cost £120,000 to erect in this magical woodland location.

Bournemouth Echo:

The structure is fixed into the ground using metal screw piles that go 5 metres into the  ground (Image - Canopy and Stars).

Standing at six metres tall and about 30ft up in the trees, it surrounds a prominent 200-year-old oak tree.

Woodman's was declared "wonderful" by Clarke in the first episode of the sixth series of the hit TV show.

The property is split across two levels and accessed by a rope bridge that brings you straight into the open-plan living and sleeping space.

This central area has a modern fitted kitchen, wood burner, huge copper roll-top bath and a kingsize bed.

With everything your heart could desire, this treehouse has a hot tub on the deck and a spiral staircase that leads onto the roof, where there is a sauna.

Extra-special touches are dotted around the place, including an outdoor shower, pizza oven and even its very own slide.

As much as this place is an adult's dream, the youthful elements keep your imagination alive and ensure your inner-child is ignited.

The incredible quality, workmanship and detail put into Woodman's has aided its phenomenal reputation.

Rave reviewers have left comments on booking website Canopy and Stars stating that Woodman's is the "nicest place" they've ever stayed.

Located in Holditch, Woodman's sleeps two people and is available on Canopy and Stars from £495 per night.
