PROTESTERS took to Bournemouth to campaign against the wearing of masks.
Large groups walked through the town holding signs reading “masks increase infection risk” and “WHO admits it’s a lie”.
Dorset Police attended the protests and said they were “able to facilitate their right to peacefully protest”.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Dorset Police are aware of the protest that took place in Bournemouth town centre on Saturday October 31.
“Officers have liaised with the organisers throughout the week, which has enabled Dorset Police to provide an appropriate level of policing on the day to facilitate their right to peacefully protest, while maintaining a safe environment for the wider public with minimal disruption to the local community.
“Throughout the event, which was attended by local neighbourhood policing officers, there have been no complaints from the public, crimes or disorder recorded.
“We continue to engage, explain and encourage individuals and groups to comply with the current coronavirus regulations, however enforcement remains an option of last resort if necessary.”
