TWO fire engines have been sent to investigate reports of smoke rising from a disused bomb shelter.
Two fire engines from Dorchester were sent to reports of smoke rising from disused bomb shelters in Crossways at around 3.00pm yesterday.
When they arrived, crews found the source of the smoke was an abandoned camp fire.
Two firefighters wearing breathing kits extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet.
