PILES of human excrement and rubbish have been left at a popular waterside spot in Poole.
Dog walkers have spotted excrement and litter on a number of fishing platform areas at Creekmoor Ponds.
Other antisocial behaviour reported includes the irresponsible discarding of fishing line, which has resulted in the suffering and death of a young cygnet.
In a facebook post from Poole's neighbourhood policing team, officers say: "Users of these sites are asked to consider both the environmental damage and the possibility of risk to human health including children walking in these areas and to dispose of their own waste responsibly.
"Bagging it or using portable facilities and taking it away is being responsible, not leaving it.
"Fishing at this lake and others, requires a fishing permit and bailiffs make regular visits."
