POLICE have released a CCTV image after a man was kicked and his camera damaged after he spotted a man dumping rubbish.

At around 11am on Tuesday September 22 a small white van drove down a restricted footpath in Watery Lane, Christchurch.

Two occupants were seen to unload bags and rubbish in the area.

A member of the public who was photographing wildlife at the time asked the two men to put their stuff back, but was then kicked by one of the men and damage was caused to a camera he was holding.
