A New Forest man caught twice the legal drink drive limit has been banned from the roads.
Matthew Anthony Knibbs was caught drink driving on Marley Avenue in New Milton on May 30.
The 40-year-old was found to have 97 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to drink driving.
Knibbs, of Marley Avenue, New Milton, was disqualified from driving for 20 months and fiend £800.
He was also ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £80.
