MOTORISTS can expect delays as 23 new sets of roadworks get under way next week.
Most of the locations will be affected by work for utility companies.
Lasting between one day and two weeks the works – mainly minor – will affect areas across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
Works are being carried out for several organisations including Vodafone, Wessex Water, Cityfibre, BT, Southern Gas and Last Mile Electricity.
Roads affected include Adastral Road, Banks Road, Broadstone Way, Canford Cliffs Road, Dunyeats Road, Herbert Avenue, Lulworth Avenue, Martello Road, Napier Road, North Road, Ringwood Road, Sandbanks Road and St Aldhelms Road in Poole.
Works will also take place at Bingham Road, Boscombe Spa Road, New Road, Palmerston Road, Poole Lane, Purbeck Road, Queens Park Drive, Queens Road and Wimborne Road in Bournemouth as well as Stony Lane in Christchurch.
