ONCERNS are growing for the welfare of an 'upset' Portland man who has suddenly gone missing. 

Christopher Wilson, aged 46, was last seen at Weymouth train station at around 8.45am on Wednesday, October 14.

He is described as white, around six feet two inches tall and of a large build with a shaved head, a beard and tattoos on his arms. He was last seen carrying a black and white Adidas bag. 

Police officers are concerned for his welfare and believe he boarded a train heading towards Bristol. 

Chief Inspector Claire Phillips, of Dorset Police, said: “Christopher is understood to have been upset recently and we are concerned for his welfare. We are carrying out enquiries as we are keen to locate him and make sure he is OK.

“From these enquiries, we believed Christopher may have got on a train at Weymouth train station at around 8.45am on Wednesday 14 October 2020 heading toward Bristol. 

“I would urge anyone with information as to Christopher’s whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact us.

“Finally, I would appeal directly to Christopher if you see this to please contact us or your family as we just want to make sure you are safe.”
