DO you remember this view of Poole High Street from the early 1970s? This section of shops was demolished to make way for the second phase of the Arndale Shopping centre and later Falkland Square. The shops ran from the Dolphin Hotel to the High Street railway crossing and included the Wimpy Bar, Dorothy Perkins, Servu Motor Accessories, Speeds Wool Shop, Decorative Extravaganza, and the Discount Centre.
