A MAN who committed a series of crimes including burgling a washing machine from a Boscombe property has avoided an immediate prison sentence.
George Arambatzis, of Windsor Road, Bournemouth trespassed at the address in Florence Road and stole the household appliance from a garage/utility room on February 24.
On the same day the 34-year-old was found to be in possession of six counterfeit £20 notes.
He also stole £47 worth of Fairy and Aerial washing products from Wilko in Christchurch Road, Boscombe, on December 30, 2019.
In January and August of this year Arambatzis failed to surrender for custody at Poole Magistrates' Court having been released on bail in criminal proceedings.
Appearing at Poole Magistrates' Court on Monday, October 5, the defendant was sentenced after admitting all of the crimes, along with a breach of conditional discharge order.
He was handed a series of six-month prison sentences to run concurrently, all suspended for 12 months.
Magistrates also ordered him to pay a £128 surcharge and £85 costs. No action was taken on the breach of the conditional discharge order.
