POLICE were called to Barrack Road, Christchurch over the weekend after more vandalism was caused to the cricket pavilion at Christchurch Recreation Ground
A “group of young people” gained access to the building, damaging two windows and defacing the pavilion with paint and toilet paper.
Local officers were contacted on the afternoon of Saturday October 3 and secured the building.
A police spokesman said: “Dorset Police received reports at around 4.35pm on Saturday October 3, 2020 that a group of young people had broken into the pavilion on Barrack Road in Christchurch.
“Two windows have been damaged during the incident.
“It was also reported that paint and toilet roll were thrown outside the pavilion.
“Officers attended the scene and enquiries are underway into the reports. No arrests have been made.”
