FOURTEEN more cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Dorset, latest figures have revealed.
Data released by the government shows that in the 24 hours leading up to 4pm on Wednesday, nine people tested positive in the BCP Council area.
This takes the total for BCP to 1,217 since the start of the pandemic, a rate of 307.8 infections per 100,000 people.
In the Dorset Council area, five people tested positive, taking the total to 782.
The rate since the start of the pandemic in the Dorset Council area is 206.6 per 100,000.
Elsewhere, in the New Forest, three people tested positive, taking the total to 609 and giving a rate of 338.2 per 100,000.
