TWO bikes were stolen as part of a burglary at an address near Poole, prompting a police investigation.
Sometime between 10.30pm on Thursday September 24 and 8.30am on Friday September 25, offenders forcibly broke into a key safe to gain access to a private detached garage at an address off Wareham Road in the Organford area.
Two bikes were stolen, the first is a black carbon fibre Orro Pyro road racing bike with red logos and two bottle holders on the frame.
The second is a large Boardman Hyb 8.9 Hybrid bike with disc brakes, a dark graphite allow frame and distinctive orange vinyl inserts of the front forks and rear arms.
And police have issued images of the bikes in the hope someone will recognise them.
Police constable Lauren Hobkirk, of Dorset Police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the relevant time and saw or heard anything suspicious to please contact Dorset Police.
“These bicycles are easily identifiable and I would ask anyone who sees them in the area, or being offered for sale on local sites, to please get in touch.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email to 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk, or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55200144526.
