A JAGUAR overtook an unmarked police car at 129mph.

Now the driver has been handed six penalty points and ordered to pay £864 in fines and costs.

Police from the Dorset Police No Excuse team have released details of the penalty in a bid to warn others of the penalties for speeding.

The incident took place in a 70mph limit on the A35 on May 24 this year.

On the same day a Skoda overtook the same vehicle at 97mph in a 60 limit. The driver has also received six penalty points and financial penalties of £538.
