A FERNDOWN local had a weekend to remember after cashing £30,000 with the People’s Postcode Lottery.

The Coach House Mews resident received, who chose to remain anonymous, the windfall after their postcode, BH22 9UR, was announced as a winner on Saturday September 26.

People’s Postcode Lottery costs £10 a month to play and there are guaranteed winners every day. People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Jeff Brazier sent his well-wishes to the winner, he said: “I can’t think of a better way to start the weekend.

“Congratulations to our winner, I’m sure they will have fun spending their winnings.”

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have helped raise more than £600 million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

This draw was promoted on behalf of The Wildlife Trusts which have received more than £13.8 million in funding thanks to players.

The Wildlife Trusts look after more than 2,300 nature reserves and operate more than 100 visitor and education centres across the country.

The Trusts work to make life better for wildlife, people and future generations.
