RURAL CRIME
Police have issued a warning to people to make sure they lock up outbuildings and remove keys from machinery and vehicles.
The rural crime warning is issued regularly by Cumbria Police.
In a tweet earlier this week, the force urged people to report suspicious activity, and phone the rural crime hotline and issued guidance to protect property. The rural crime hotline number is 0800 783 0137
