A MAN has suffered injuries to his chest and leg following an assault.
Police were called on Tuesday, September 22, after a 21-year-old man was attacked by a gang of youths.
Officer arrived at the pathway between Finchdean Road and Botley Drive in Leigh Park just after 8.30pm.
A man has been assaulted and his phone was stolen by a group of young men.
Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service were treating the victim for injuries to his leg and chest that have been described as "minor".
It is believed by police that the man was assaulted with a "sharp implement".
Enquiries are ongoing to establish what happened.
