BOURNEMOUTH was one of top ten slowest ‘cities’ for selling houses in the UK, new research has revealed.
With stamp duty axed until April 2021 and the housing market steadily reopening, Online Mortgage Advisor sought to find out how location effects how easy it is to move house.
The study found on average, it takes 115 days to sell a home in Bournemouth, the ninth slowest in the UK.
The slowest in the UK was Oxford, which took 152 days on average – the average time to sell in the UK is 101 days.
The quickest place to sell a house was Edinburgh, where houses sold at a rate of 45 days.
