TEMPORARY carriageway restrictions will be in place along Christchurch Bypass from tonight while the council undertakes grass cutting along the main road.
The night time works between Fountains roundabout and Somerford roundabout will begin from today (Tuesday September 22).
Whilst there will be temporary road closures in both directions, the council says that “traffic will be able to travel along the bypass at all times”.
BCP Council spokesperson said “We are undertaking routine grass cutting along Christchurch Bypass between Fountain roundabout and Somerford roundabout on Tuesday September 22 2020.
“Temporary night time lane closures will be in place in both directions but traffic will be able to travel along the bypass at all times.”
