WESTBOURNE Post Office has reopened today, having been closed after a staff member tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.

The post office branch on Seamoor Road has been shut since Monday September 7 after a worker was found to have positive result the previous day.

Having opened its doors again to the public this morning and closed at 12.30pm, the store will be open again on Monday September 21 at 9am.

During its closure, the store was fumigated with anti-virus fogging, a light spray which is diffused into affected rooms and settles onto surfaces, providing long lasting protection against viruses.
