Mapperton House in Beaminster will feature in the Netflix film, Rebecca
The trailer for a film partially shot at a manor house in west Dorset has been released by Netflix.
Mapperton House in Beaminster will feature in Rebecca, a British romantic thriller based on the 1938 novel of the same name by Daphne du Maurier. Cranborne Manor in Dorset was also used for filming.
The film stars Lily James, Armie Hammer, Kristin Scott Thomas, Tom Goodman-Hill, Keeley Hawes, Sam Riley, and Ann Dowd.
It tells the story of a newly married young woman who finds herself battling the shadow of her husband's dead first wife, the mysterious Rebecca.
The film is due to be released on October 21.
