AN AMBER warning has been issued for wildfires this weekend, with the public encouraged to take care.
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service receieved the amber alert, and issued advice to help the public stay safe.
People were urged not to have campfires, have barbecues in designated areas, ensure cigarettes are out and take litter home.
If a person dicovers a fire, they should keep a safe distance and call 999.
It comes after a blaze ripped through 220 hectares of forest in Wareham in May, costing in the region of half a million pounds to fight.
