POLICE hunting thieves who stole a wallet from a car parked in a driveway and then used bank cards fraudulently have released CCTV images.

They hope someone will recognise the two men pictured following the incident in Wimborne on Tuesday September 1.

The wallet was taken from the vehicle, parked in a driveway in East Borough, at around 3pm.

Bank cards that had been in the wallet were then used to carry out a number of transactions, including in the Wimborne and Poole areas.

Police Community Support Investigator Kate Hann, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out enquiries into this matter and have examined CCTV footage from a number of locations where the victim’s card is reported to have been used.

“I am now releasing images of two men I would like to speak to as part of our investigation and would urge anyone with information as to their identity to please contact us.”
