We are revving up and launching a weekly Me and My Motor feature and want to hear from you...

Meet Eleanor Stockdale who was born in Highcliffe.

Her father bought her a Fiat 127 for her 18th birthday in 1989. Just two days later the car had broken down in the lions den at Longleat Safari park.

"I took my friends out for the day and we went to the safari park. We trundled through the various animal enclosures and came to the lions den.

"My car started making a bizarre noise and then stopped. I panicked and jumped out of the car.

"For some reason, I didn't even think about the pride of lions snoozing close by! I even began to open the bonnet, which was even odder as I didn't have had a clue about car engines.

"Suddenly a loud voice boomed out of somewhere shouting at me to get back into my car."

The car was towed out of the lion den and a recovery vehicle came to the rescue.

"I wasn't very happy with dad after the event, especially as he was a car mechanic!"
