DANCING Moose in Bournemouth has had to temporarily close after a confirmed case of coronavirus.

The bar said it has been informed by Public Health England to take precautions due to the rise in Covid cases in Bournemouth.

A post on the Dancing Moose Facebook page said: “To take further Covid safe precautions and due to the rise in cases in Bournemouth we are deciding to temporarily our Bournemouth Moose.

“At present, we have had just one confirmed case and have taken stringent precautions in our venues.

“Therefore, we are closing our Bournemouth site as of today and will be able to re-staff this venue and re-open from Thursday September 17, which is in accordance with Public Health England’s advice to us.

“Due to the Covid safe team bubbles and the hard work of our team, Ashley Cross and Wimborne will remain open.

“We thank you for your understanding at this unprecedented time and look forward to seeing you on your return.”
