A 19-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court in connection with an alleged murder in Bournemouth.

Khalid Nuur Mohamed, of Grange Park Road, Leyton, Waltham Forest, appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, September 9, on charges of assisting an offender and being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin in Bournemouth.

The charges come after detectives launched an investigation the death of 31-year-old James Cutting, who was found with stab wounds in Boscombe Chine Gardens on June 30. Mr Cutting was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mohamed, who did not enter pleas to the charges, was remanded into custody ahead of a hearing at Bournemouth Crown Court on October 15.

A 16-year-old boy from London, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with murder as well as attempted murder in relation to another man who was found with injuries to his neck and face on June 30. He is due to stand trial in January next year.

The boy appeared at Winchester Crown Court yesterday for a hearing. He has still not been arraigned and was remanded into custody.

A plea and trial preparation hearing has been listed for October 23 at the same court.
