AN ELDERLY couple had cash stolen from their room at a Bournemouth hotel.

An investigation has been launched by police in relation to the theft, which took place at the Miramar Hotel in Grove Road.

The victims, a man and woman aged in their 80s, were staying at the hotel when a quantity of cash was stolen from their room between Saturday, August 29, and Thursday, September 3.

Police have issued a CCTV appeal to the public, with images of two men they would like to speak to.

PC Holly Palmer, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are making enquiries into this theft and have obtained CCTV images of two men we would like to speak to as part of our investigation.

“I would urge anyone who recognises them to please contact us.”
