A RUGBY club has been left with around £3,000 of damage following a spate of vandalism.
Dorset Police have launched an investigation into the incidents at Wimborne Rugby Football Club, which are all believed to have taken place between Monday, August 3 and Sunday, August 27.
Damage has been deliberately caused to guttering, flood lights, walls and the outside store.
Police community support investigator Richard King said: “This damage has caused the club great expense and inconvenience.
“I am appealing to anyone who either witnessed these incidents at the club or knows who is responsible to please contact me.”
The club, which celebrated its 70th anniversary this year, is situated at Gordon Road, Wimborne.
