A MAN stole a mobile phone from behind the till at a Poole convenience store.

The phone, which belonged to a member of staff, had been left behind one of the tills at the Premier store in Turlin Road, Hamworthy, Poole.

Now police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft.

The phone was a white Samsung Galaxy S10, and a bank card that was inside the phone case was also stolen.

Police community support investigator James Somerville, of Poole police, said: “As part of my enquiries I have obtained a CCTV image of the suspect.

“I am appealing to anyone who recognises him to please get in touch."

The theft took place on Wednesday, August 26, between 3.10-3.45pm.
