FIVE more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Dorset in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest figures on the government website, four cases were confirmed in the BCP Council area as of 4pm on Tuesday.
It meant since the start of the pandemic, 903 people have tested positive for coronavirus in BCP.
One more case was confirmed in the Dorset Council area.
662 people have now tested positive in this area.
The rate of cases per 100,000 people now stood at 228.4 in BCP and 174.9 in Dorset.
Elsewhere, four more cases were confirmed in the New Forest, taking the total to 501.
The rate for the forest now stands at 278.2.
The last death from coronavirus in Dorset hospitals came more than a month ago, on July 30 at Poole Hospital.
157 people have now died from the virus in Dorset hospitals.
