DESPITE the country being plunged into a lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak, some eateries were still inspected and rated.

Here are all the food hygiene ratings reviewed in Dorset since lockdown.

APRIL

Alder Stores & Off Licence received a ‘very good’ rating when it was inspected on April 6.

The retailer was 'very good' for both hygienic food handling and cleanliness and condition of facilities and building. Management of food safety was rating ‘good’.

Cake specialist Beautifully Baked by Nat Lou also received a rating of ‘very good’ an April 29.

For all three categories, hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety, it was described as ‘very good’.

Cakes and Crumbs, in Bournemouth, was rated ‘very good’ on April 9.

However, for the three categories mentioned above it was rated as ‘good’.

Park Garage – Shell in Holdenhurst Road was rated ‘very good on April 20.

Its cleanliness and condition of facilities and building was ‘very good’, meanwhile the hygienic food handling and management of food safety was ‘good’.

Premier Food and Wine received a rating of ‘very good’ on April 14. Achieving a rating of ‘good’ in each of the three categories.

On April 16, mobile caterer Panzerotti Hut was rated ‘very good’.

MAY

On May 1, café Lazy Fox on Seamoor Road received a ‘very good’ rating, achieving this score in all three categories.

Mosaic Restaurant in Wimborne Road was also ‘very good’, as was Baia Baia in Holdenhurst Road.

Chicken Express, in Old Christchurch Road and Golden Grill House were both rated ‘good’.

JUNE

Four places received ‘very good’ ratings in June, including CakeSmith.

Across all three categories, they were rated as ‘good’.

Cake company Gnomebaked by Nai in Southbourne were rated ‘very good’, also achieved ‘good’ ratings across all three categories.

Small Block Collective in Poole was rated ‘very good’ overall and in the three categories.

Sweet Bites was ‘good’ in all three categories and ‘very good’ overall.

JULY

On July 8, SoCo Brownie Studio received a rating of ‘very good’.

In all three categories, hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety, it was rated ‘good’.
