A SALISBURY man man has been arrested in connection with an investigation into the theft of more than £6,000 worth of watches from a jewellers in Bournemouth.
Police are investigating the reported theft, which took place at Goldsmiths in Old Christchurch Road shortly after 1pm on Saturday, August 22.
Dorset Police said they received reports that a man the store and made off without paying for three TAG Heuer Aquaracer watches, with an estimated total value of around £6,250.
Following a CCTV appeal and enquiries by officers, a 24-year-old man from Salisbury has been arrested on suspicion of theft. Dorset Police said he has been released under investigation.
