ORCHIDS have been donated by a New Milton nursery to brighten up the new Lewis-Manning Hospice Care premises.
Double H Nurseries in Gore Road, has given more than 40 orchids in pots to the new hospice base to brighten the lives of patients and the staff.

The hospice’s new building is full of bright and vibrant colours and the addition of orchids compliments its homely interior design. 
Commercial manager at Double H Nurseries, Gary Shorland said: “We are delighted to be able to support the hospice. We heard about their new building on Longfleet Road in Poole and wanted to help brighten up the space.”
Lewis-Manning Hospice Care is a free service, offering help and supports people with life-limiting illnesses and their families from Poole, the Purbeck and East Dorset.
Lewis Manning Hospice Care CEO, Clare Gallie said: “We are thrilled to accept these orchids. They are absolutely stunning and have certainly made an instant impact. 
“Every staff member has an orchid on their desk. We offer a huge thank you to Gary and his team at Double H Nurseries. 
“We have been overwhelmed with the generosity of local businesses who have helped bring happiness to our incredible members of staff, as well as our patients, during a time when we need to support and help each other most.”
Lewis-Manning Hospice Care offers free hospice care services including, a day hospice, creative arts and wellbeing support, a Lymphoedema clinic and a Better Breathing clinic.
The hospice promotes acceptance, hope and peace of mind, helping people live well through their illness. 
Lewis-Manning Hospice Care is also developing new services all the time and this includes education, and support groups for families and carers.
From its new base, Lewis-Manning Hospice Care will be able to help even more people in Poole, Purbeck and East Dorset with life limiting illnesses. 
Its aim is to increase people’s physical and social well-being, reduce isolation and loneliness, support people to stay in their homes longer, and alleviate the huge pressures on family and carers.
