THREE men robbed a 16-year-old boy of his quad bike when he stopped to repair a puncture.
The offenders then fled in a van when police tried to stop them.
Dorset Police received a report at 5.04pm yesterday from a boy who said his quad bike had been stolen in the area of Ashington near Wimborne.
Officers attended and carried out a search of the area and the stolen quad bike was found in the Corfe Mullen area.

Officers at the scene were alerted to a white Peugeot van reported to match the description of the vehicle involved in the theft.
The van failed to stop when required by police and made off from the scene. The vehicle was located a short time later in the Canford Heath area of Poole. One man was detained at the scene and two further men were detained nearby.
Three 19-year-old men, two from Poole and one from Southampton, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and failing to stop when required by police and are assisting officers with their enquiries.
