A TRIAL date has been set for a man accused of murdering another man in Poole.
Christopher John Stocks, aged 54, is accused of killing Gary Ballett. He has not yet entered a plea to the charge against him.
Mr Ballett, who was aged 66, sustained a stab wound to the abdomen during an alleged incident at an address in Rossmore Road on August 9. He was taken to hospital for treatment and died the following day.
A short preliminary hearing was held at Winchester Crown Court yesterday.
The judge adjourned the case against Stocks for a plea and trial preparation hearing to take place October 20, ahead of a planned trial on February 1, 2021.
Stocks, of Rossmore Road, was remanded into custody.
