A MAN has been jailed for more than seven months for a dozen crimes in Bournemouth and Poole.

David Eric Noel, aged 23 and of Spencer Road, Bournemouth, admitted a string of theft, criminal damage, fraud and vehicle interference charges when he appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on July 31.

His crimes took place at various locations, including residential addresses, Subway, Asda, Sainsbury’s and a jewellery shop.

The bench issued him with various immediate prison terms for his offences, with an overall length of sentence of 33 weeks, along with an order to pay £150 compensation for stealing someone’s phone.

The details of his crimes included:

  • Undertook or assisted in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of two gold rings from a woman at Raffles Jewellers on September 14, 2019. Committed to prison for four weeks concurrent.
  • Stole two steaks worth £10.50 from Sainsbury’s in Bournemouth Road, Poole, on November 27, 2019. Committed to prison for eight weeks consecutive.
  • Stole a selection of alcohol worth £186 with another man from Asda in Poole on December 2, 2019. Committed to prison for eight weeks.
  • Undertook or assisted in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of a stolen laptop in Langdon Road, Poole, on December 3, 2019. Committed to prison for four weeks concurrent.
  • Fraudulent bank card use to make purchases in Alder Road, Poole, on December 3, 2019. Committed to prison for four weeks concurrent.
  • Fraudulent bank card use to buy food from Subway in Bournemouth, on January 4. Committed to prison for four weeks concurrent.
  • Fraudulent bank card use to buy cigarettes in Bournemouth, on January 4. Committed to prison for eight weeks consecutive.
  • Stole a Samsung S7 phone and cleaning wipes from a man in Fortescue Road, Poole, on July 12. Committed to prison for eight weeks consecutive. To pay £150 compensation.
  • Damaged a taxi window in Fortescue Road, Poole, on July 12. Committed to prison for four weeks concurrent.
  • Stole £3 from an unattended vehicle in Gladstone Road, Poole, on July 19. Committed to prison for four weeks concurrent.
  • Interfered with a Ford Mondeo with the intention to steal from it in Spring Gardens, Poole, on July 19. Committed to prison for four weeks concurrent.
  • Failed to follow requirements imposed following release from period in prison by failing to attend office visits on July 15 and 20, and failed to reside at approved address between July 9 and July 16. Committed to prison for one week consecutive.
