CHRISTCHURCH’S popular bottle shop The Crafty Tap have announced that they will be reopening on Wednesday.

The independent business on High Street have put in host of new rules in order to reopen safely under the government’s guidelines, including a queuing system for their takeaway service and switching to table service.

Having remained open for takeaways during lockdown, the taproom ask for customers to reserve a table via their new booking function available on their website.

In a statement made on their Facebook page, a spokesman from The Craft Tap said: “We’re super excited to be opening for drink-in from Wednesday August 5.

“Things will be a little different to comply with government advise to keep everyone safe - we’ll let you know further details soon.

“We will still be offering our takeaway service too.”

All tables and chairs will be sanitised between customers, along with regular cleaning of all surfaces and handles and, to support the NHS track and trace system, customers will be asked to fill out a form which will be kept for 21 days.
