A man has come forward after a woman was attacked by a dog in Swanage.
A woman, aged in her 30s, was walking in Days Park, Swanage, when she was bitten on the leg by a Lurcher-type dog. She was then taken to hospital for treatment of a small puncture wound to her leg.
The incident happened around 6.30am on Wednesday, July 22.
Police issued an photo of the dog and its owner, taken by the victim, and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
A man has since come forward and a Dorset Police spokesman said he would be "spoken to by officers." No arrests have been made.
