FIREFIGHTERS tackled an out of control bonfire in Christchurch.
Two crews from Christchurch attended the blaze outside a property in Barrack Road on Monday afternoon.
Police officers also attended; however the incident was not believed to be malicious.
A Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two crews from Christchurch were called to an incident on Barrack Road, Christchurch at 1:53pm this afternoon.
"They extinguished an out of control bonfire outside a property using one hose reel jet and requested Police attendance – the stop came at 2:05pm."
A Dorset Police spokesman said: "We received a report of a fire outside a property in Barrack Road in Christchurch. Officers attended, along with the fire service.
"It was established that this was a fire involving rubbish and was not believed to be malicious. No further police action was required."
