A SQUARE concrete garden was transformed into this lush green oasis in Stanpit by green-fingered gardener Janet Espley.
Wanting to give her new puppy somewhere to play and herself somewhere comfortable to sit, Janet created a lawn area, which never needs cutting (it's not real, but shhh don't tell anyone) and a small patio area for her corner sofa and table.
Two raised beds cover the length of the garden and are chock full of ferns and Salvia and Janet grows runner beans and tomatoes on the side of her modern shed.
"I love my garden. It's a real sun trap and the plants thrive. And Betty loves it too!"
