IT might be time to get the paddling pools out or head to the beach.
Temperatures are set to hit the low to mid-twenties at the tail-end of this week.
After a what is likely to be a fairly cloudy week, the Met Office has forecast bright sunshine on Thursday and Friday.
Thursday is meant to reach 20 degrees, Friday could see a few showers, however temperatures could reach 24 degrees according to the Met Office.
The weekend is set to remain hot, however will be cloudier than Thursday and Friday.
Bournemouth & Poole weather said there could be a “very brief warm up” at the end of this week.
It tweeted: “Chance of a very brief warm up towards the end of the week, maybe 25c on Thursday, a 28-30c on Friday before a quick transition back to unsettled condition.
“Current Synoptics remind of July 15, which after just a days warmth produced the most spectacular storms in the last 30 years.”
Bournemouth is set to be hotter than Crete in Greece, which is forecast to only be mid-twenties on Thursday and Friday.
Weather enthusiast Dorset Snow tweeted: "So we will get a warm blast of air on the final day of July. 28/29c likely for Dorset."
