SOUTHBOURNE Coastguards went to the aid of a windsurfer with equipment failure.
A team was called out just before 2pm yesterday to a windsurfer in difficulty near Branksome Chine.
The crew was joined by a Poole lifeboat crew and a search was carried out as far as Sandbanks.
Teams discovered the windsurfer was safe and ashore and returned to station.
