Poole Magistrates Court
A MAN has been issued a restraining order and ordered to pay more than £900 for an assault offence.
Matthew Ricketts, aged 47 and of Newman's Close, Wimborne, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Wimborne on December 28, 2019.
Appearing before Poole Magistrates' Court on Monday, July 20, Ricketts was ordered not to make any contact with the victim, directly or indirectly, and not to enter four roads in Wimborne.
The bench handed him a £553 fine and the defendant also had to pay £250 compensation, £85 costs and a £55 surcharge.
