Seven people were rescued from a rib by lifeboat and coastguard crews after they ran aground on Lymington River late on Sunday.
The group were all on board the vessell that was stuck on the marshes, with one person needing medical assistance for a back injury.
Lymington Coastguard Rescue Team, Hampshire Police, the search and rescue Coastguard helicopter and the ambulance service all attended the incident shortly before midnight.
Six people who were suffering from the cold were taken ashore, while the seventh person was airlifted to a waiting ambulance.
The rib was jointly recovered from the marshes by Yarmouth and Lymington RNLI and was towed back to Lymington.
