Police responding to incident in Churchill Road
A LARGE police response was called to deal with an incident in a residential road in Parkstone on Thursday evening.
Officers closed off a section of Churchill Road and the NPAS helicopter had been seen circling overhead for some time.

There were reports of armed police at the scene, as well as the police dog unit.
Residents reported seeing a number of marked and unmarked police cars in attendance, as well as an ambulance and a police forensics team.

The emergency service presence in the area was ongoing for several hours.
