THE family of a man who died in a collision in Hampshire last week have paid tribute to him.

On Friday July 10, Andrew Biddlecombe, 70, died following a single-vehicle collision at Portsdown Hill Road in Havant.

Officers were called to the scene at around 9pm after a grey Morgan Plus Four had crashed into a lamppost on the road, and Andrew was pronounced dead at the scene.

Now his family have paid tribute to him.

In a statement, they said: "Andrew had recently celebrated his 70th birthday with his family and three children, who he loved very much.

“Known as a kind, calm and patient man, he will be greatly missed by his friends and family.”

Officers are continuing to investigate the exact circumstances of the collision and are keen to speak to anyone with information which may assist them.
