Police are warning residents about rogue traders in the area today
Weymouth residents have been warned to watch out for rogue traders after reports of people going door to door in the town today.
A spokesman for Weymouth and Portland Police said: "We've received reports today of door to door sellers trying to sell items to people on their doorsteps.
"Please do not answer the door to people you don't know and let us know as much information as you can about them (such as their description, any vehicles they've been seen with, how many of them there are...).
"Please pass this message on to family, friends and neighbours, especially those who are more vulnerable."
